atheists are the sorriest people in the world. they put their faith in nothing — no, they put their faith in chance which came from nothing. chance as the great origin of all things.
i know an atheist who is a successful physician in the USA, a very intelligent and learned person, a very talented artistic photographer. nothing he does has any meaning (besides, what is “meaning” to him) since everything about him and around him came out of an impersonal origin and is a mere product of bumping atoms and orbiting electrons. all things, including what he imagines to be personality… and love, are meaningless.
thought is a mere product of the interaction of these impersonal forces. the self-consciousness of thought, ie, the fact that we are aware of our thought process, is a mere product of bumping atoms and orbiting electrons. we are no different from inanimate rocks and senseless beasts — except that, we (humans) write memoirs… and genealogies! fascinating.
it is fascinating how an intelligent human needs to get formal education — for what, ten years? — to be a successful physician, and more years to specialize further; while chance (uneducated, unguided, and impersonal), on the other hand, proves more superiour by producing — by random chance — the object of the physician’s study, viz, the complexity, order, and purpose of the human body.
